Alta Loma Christian School
As a premier private Christian school, we recognize that our community’s children face many challenges, both educationally and culturally.
In the area of 21st century skills, we have responded by implementing a robust academic program integrating technology and innovation into student learning. In addition to becoming one of the first preschool through 8th grade school systems in California to teach computer coding to all students, our SpaceEagles STEM program is making history as our middle school space science and engineering students create experiments destined for the International Space Station this spring. ALCS is one of only 11 middle schools in the nation participating in the Quest for Space ISS Project of the Quest Institute for Quality Education, partnering with LEGO® Education, Microsoft®, Nanoracks®, and NASA. SpaceEagles is a STEM program initiative of The Eagle Center for Creativity and Innovation (TECCI) at ALCS, which we created to incubate new educational opportunities for our students in arts, sciences, and entrepreneurial endeavor.
We also believe that children must have a 1st century faith, a vibrant belief in Christ reflective of the unstoppable and steadfast faith of 1st century Christ-followers. The understanding that all truth is God’s truth—and that Christ is the author of all truth—serves students as a foundation for navigating life with success. We strive to permeate our entire educational program with the reality of God and a biblical, Christian worldview.
Combined with remarkable and highly qualified teachers, an outstanding core curriculum, and unmatched co-curricular opportunities, we believe God has blessed us with one of the most unique and exceptional educational programs in Southern California. Over all of this is a genuine love for your child and for one another, with the knowledge that God has created all of us in His image— making you and your child priceless treasures.
