Owner Armando Benitez and his wife began with a single “hole-in-the-wall diner” in 1997. Because of Benitez’s firm insistence on homemade food prepared fresh, Brandon’s Diner grew into eight locations, including a new restaurant inside the Riverside City Hall. Its popularity is due to its wide variety of American and Mexican food, with signature dishes like the Chile Verde Omelet. Everyone loves Taco Tuesdays, but Brandon’s Diner’s dedication to fresh ingredients has made Tuesday nights explosively successful.
