Jointly accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the Association of Christian Schools International, Alta Loma Christian School has been touching hearts and training minds of students since 1980. Our Pre-K – 8th grade program emphasizes excellence in academics as well as a foundation in biblical truth. Our highly qualified professional educators guide students as they grow spiritually, academically, and personally.
In our state-of-the-art computer lab, the Beyond Technology Education K-8 curriculum enables students to engage in standards-based technology integration. Our 1:1 iPad program provides each student in grades 6-8 with an iPad which is used as a platform for selected text books and as a tool for collaboration, problem solving, and research.
Access to technology in school gives students greater opportunities to learn, engage, communicate, and develop skills that will prepare them for work, life, and citizenship. Technology is an innovative, powerful tool in teaching students with different learning styles and we are committed to helping all of our K-8 students develop 21st century skills.
In 2014, Alta Loma Christian School was recognized by Renaissance Learning as a Model School in honor of our students’ achievement using the Accelerated Reader Program. This distinguished national honor commends our commitment to achieving challenging academic goals.
